Interstate 70 (I-70) bisects the state of Colorado from east to west, and is the main route for visitors coming to Summit County. If you begin at Denver International Airport (DIA), your trip will typically take you about an hour and a half. From Denver take I-70 westbound following the signs for Grand Junction. Go straight for 75 miles. Get off at the Silverthorne/Dillon exit, #205. Take a right on the exit ramp, then get in the left lane as soon as possible and turn left at the traffic signal. You are now on Wildernest Road, which passes the Silverthorne Factory Stores and becomes Ryan Gulch Road as it heads up Wildernest. If you miss this turn, just make a left at one of the next streets, then make another left and loop back. Go straight and you will merge right on to Ryan Gulch Road. Stay on this main road for approximately 2 1/2 miles and Silver Queen West will be on your right, between Lacy Drive and Twenty Grand Road. Enter the upper drive, which is marked with a lit sign. You will receive final check-in information with your confirmation letter. from the west... Take I-70 eastbound, exiting left from exit #205. Make a left on the exit ramp, then turn left at the second traffic signal (at the 7-11). You are now on Wildernest Road, which passes the Silverthorne Factory Stores and becomes Ryan Gulch Road as it heads up Wildernest. If you miss this turn, just make a left at one of the next streets, then make another left again and loop back. Go straight and you will merge right on to Ryan Gulch Road. If you're coming from the northern Front Range of Colorado, take I-25 south to I-70 westbound, following the directions listed above. From Steamboat Springs follow the signs south toward Kremmling. From there, Highway 9 will take you into Silverthorne. Make a right at the 7-11 and from there follow the directions above. from the south... From Colorado Springs, take Hwy. 24 west to Hartsel. At Hartsel take Hwy. 9 north through Fairplay & Alma (SPEED TRAPS!) and over Hoosier Pass to Breckenridge. Continue on to Frisco, getting on I-70 eastbound at exit 203. Get off at exit 205 making a left turn from the ramp. Turn left at the 7-11 store (1/4 mile) then follow Wildernest/Ryan Gulch Road for 2 1/2 miles. Silver Queen West will be on your right.
